A memorandum was signed with AccessBank CJSC under the University–Business Cooperation project
A memorandum was signed between “BERC&Partners” and AccessBank CJSC under the University–Business Cooperation project. Renat Aliyev, member of the Management Board of AccessBank CJSC, and Kanan Aghayev, co-founder of “BERC&Partners”, signed the document.

In a fast-changing world, driving innovation, economic growth and social progress — and preparing specialists who meet the demands of the labour market by mastering practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge — has made University–Business Cooperation a necessity. Such cooperation brings together the unique strengths of both sides: universities contribute research, skilled graduates and theoretical expertise, while business contributes practical experience, real problems, financial support and employment opportunities.
The memorandum sets out the joint activities of AccessBank CJSC and “BERC&Partners”, together with an action plan covering the following areas in particular:
- Involving students of partner universities in internship and work placement programmes at AccessBank;
- Organising corporate training and professional development activities jointly with the bank's specialists;
- Supporting joint projects in financial literacy, entrepreneurship and career guidance;
- Holding “Career Days” to inform students about the work of AccessBank and its current staffing needs.
The project is managed by the “University–Business Cooperation Centre” operating within “BERC&Partners” (UBƏM). UBƏM is a project management and research centre that builds links between academic institutions and the business sector, organises and manages the joint delivery of projects that identify or solve the real problems and needs of society and the economy, and develops funding models for those projects.
